\nNamgyal Higher Secondary School in Kathmadu is the only school in Nepal which prepares young Tibetans for entry to tertiary education\n\n

\nThe school had to close at the end of April because of public measures against CoVid-19. In the circumstance it is not possible to bill school fees, and fees are the only income this school has. It is not supported by the Tibetan Government in Exile in India or by any ministry or supporting organisation in Nepal or elsewhere\n\n

\nThe school’s immediate concern is to pay its employees, and that has finally emptied financial reserves which were already slender\n\n

\nTeaching staff are still teaching online. They are already unpaid\n\n

\nNamgyal Higher Secondary is now asking for help to keep all categories of staff at least partially paid\n\n
