Screening of Beat Renz Film
Swiss film-maker Beat Renz first encountered street children in Tibet in 2004. The misery of these children’s lives was unfathomable for Renz. He set himself a commitment to support the TADRA project which now houses 721 Tibetan orphans. Project TADRA has in turn fixed a target of of relief for the teeming orphans and street children living in a sea of misery in eastern Tibet. TADRA’s first step in 1996 was a simple wooden house sheltering 20 orphans and street chilren. The project exists entirely from donations. The carers work for nothing and pay their own travel costs.
