People in Urgent Need of Help
An unforeseen event can place a refugee in a situation of emergency. Schoolchildren may lose sponsors they already have, and so may aged people and novice monks and nuns. A sponsor may become unable to help further. Students can lose grants from other sources and need a new source of support. Health problems needing treatment or surgery may unexpectedly arise
Education and health projects are frequently started in response to an urgent need which cannot be ignored, and consequently need urgent finance.
A few of these cases are described here, together with information and links for sending help. It is possible to sponsor these persons or to make a donation directly to our fund for the support of urgent cases.

My elder sister recently started work, provisonally in a department for publications
After my BA in Psychology, Economics & Sociology I studied Buddhism for six months at the Snowland School of Tibetan Studies.
