  • Mediation of sponsorships for children, the elderly and people in need of medical assistance in India and Nepal.
  • Construction and maintenance of day schools and boarding schools.
  • Construction and maintenance of medical dispensaries and hospital wards.
  • Acquisition and delivery of Medical equipment and supplies.
  • Assistance in agricultural projects.
  • Cultural Projects.

Up to 2014 Tibetfreunde was able to forward CHF 50,000 per year on average to finance projects in India and Nepal. Another CHF 80,000 in donations went towards the support of designated projects.
That’s modest in comparison with the CHF 650,000 per year that Tibetfreunde raises in sponsorship money.

However, one should be aware that often small and carefully identified projects are often connected to situations of urgent need and should be targets of support.

Your designated gifts and sponsorships are forwarded with no deductions on our part.

There are no administrative deductions, because the only overheads are stationery and post which are covered by membership fees, leaving funds for project support.

General as distinct from designated gifts allowed the Committee to send CHF 113,500 for project work in India and Nepal in 2014. Added to the CHF 104,015 which for which donors specified a project, the volume of support for projects was CHF 217,515

So project support in 2014 was above average when compared to earlier years.
