Mount Kailash Boarding School is a non-profit school in Kathmandu for poor children of high Himalayan Tibetan and Nepalese border region. These children either have very poor parents or no parents

This school was founded in 2015 to provide shelter, food, education and family for children who had little or nothing

The Covid-19 pandemic has ended livelihoods. Many families starve without income since late 2019, and the monsoon has swept homes and streets away. People with destitute without hope have ended their life

Parents arrive at Mount Kailash Boarding School to plead that their children be taken in as pupils. The school can only take children who have a financial sponsor, and has asked TibetFreunde to help find those sponsors
