Verein Tibetfreunde
Our first principle is helping towards self-reliance. We support projects for health, education and agriculture in India, Nepal and Tibet. We work with the several departments of the Tibetan Government in Exile at Dharamsala to uphold Tibetan culture and religious life and to protect human rightsThe clear profit from this concert goes to the Central Tibetan Relief Committee (CTRC). Families seek to provide for their old and sick in accordance with Tibetan tradition. There are however cases of insoluble hardship, where the family is itself destitute, or where an aged person has no family. This is where our help and your help are most needed. CTRC, empowered as an agency of the Home Department of the Tibetan Government in Exile, places needy persons who are aged in a program where sponsorship is sought for them. At Tibetfreunde we have worked for many years with CTRC and have been able thanks to sponsors to assist many aged persons to an old age without anxiety
Supported by the Stiftung Musikschule Konservatorium Bern and with many thanks to Herr Gerhardt Müller and Herr Reto Inäbnit
