Taksham Monastery has needed to buy water at a high price during droughts. Public supply could not cope. The monks decided to draw on a spring 700m away. This has meant boring a shaft, constructing conduits and installing pumps. The Monastery approached Tibetfreunde for support with the costs of CHF 3’300.
